It was all in my mind was I such a fool - Bardot

Sometimes humans are stubborn. Even though you know certain things you might regret, you would still make the wrong move just for that moment which seems right.

Anyway Jason & I went to Expo today.
He wanted to buy a LCD TV for dual purposes - watching TV and using computer (one at a time of cos) at the same time in his own room.
There is Harvey Norman Sales but I am of cos' so much more interested in the Robinsons sales.

I went to the Robinsons sales a couple of months back (too at Expo) and I got home certain stuff like the Revlon mascara, Burberry London EDP, a St Ives mask, vit C, Puma T, shoes! (Gawd, how did I remember all those?)

This time round, I returned with....
Photobucket 2 pairs of shoes going at $1o per pair only!! $10!!! Still got 10% discount! Can you fucking believe that? It's not those kinda poor quality or chui designs too.
If it isn't that I don't need so many heels, I would have bought more!

Photobucket Another St.Ives mask(for $5.40..can you blame me for buying a quality mask?), ZA face shaper(much needed for my round face), Loreal foundation refill ( I decided to put Chanel on hold just for some more months), Revlon mascara again(at half of it's retail price) and that small green box you see is Sarah Jessica Parker - Covet.

I did thought of buying the bigger bottle one but then again, a scent is just a scent. I am not those that finish my perfumes in a few sprays so 30ml for $39 should do just good.

There won't be another Robinsons sales for the year (I checked the EXPO's calender) so let's just hold our breathe for the next one. There is always Xmas and year end sales.

Back to Harvey Norman, I went to recce the retail price of my lustful item - Cannon Powershot E1.

In terms of function, it is just normal but I belong to the 'love at first sight' person. I see, I love and I will not change my heart. The second one that made my heart wavers would be something really close to it or better, but still similar. (Gals...This is so 话中话)

Currently retailing at $319 so I hope by year end, I can get my paws on it less than that!

Photobucket I am a bimbo but I heartx beautiful things! So what? You like ugly things meh?

Anyway Jason did got his 26" LG LCD not from the sales but an online seller.
We went to NTUC to some ingredients for dinner tonight.
Photobucket No prize for spotting Jason.

When we reached his home, he was busy fixing the TV to his table. I couldn't wait so I prepared the dishes myself.

It is just maggie mee but I fried the luncheon meats, sunny side up and boil veggies myself. Pretty HK style.

AND to be honest, this is my first time frying luncheon meats and doing a sunny side up.
You see,I don't cook at home. My parents did the job and I don't really get to learn. (Ok, excuses!)
So when I was frying the luncheon meats, I am honestly a lil' excited.
I know what you wanna say....Luncheon meats only nia, what so excited?
See~I have a phobia for the hot oil. The 'pit, pit, pak, pak' sounds freak me and I am so scare that the oil botched my skin.
But Jason's mum was in the kitchen with me so when that lil' oil went 'pit pak' on the wok, I can only try to act steady~ and down the luncheon meats.
(Ps: If I am at home, I would just put the luncheon meats in the microwave lo.)

Jason asked if I wanna do the sunny side up too and I refused initially. I always think it is very difficult to do a nice sunny side up. I mean...if it is easy then how come you always tend to see chui ones at the chinese food stalls and why would they invent the kinda equipment that helps you acheive a perfect looking sunny side up?
And I have never seen my mum doing a perfect one myself so I think it is difficult.

In the end I asked Jason to let me try frying one myself and he laughed at me. -__-

Photobucket Looks so far,so good.

Photobucket I carefully scooped it to the plate but piak..the yolk overflow.
Then I was amazed that how freaking easy it is! I guess the shape of the wok help too.

After an almost successful attempt, I fried the second one without asking.

Photobucket I poked my 2 fingers in the pic to show this is the second egg. lol.

This time round, I carefully scooped the egg (with some difficulty) and let's just say, I somewhat succeeded la.

I am just proud that I did my first frying of sunny side up and luncheon meats lah~~~ XD

Photobucket Pretty unhealthy but anything lah huh?

Photobucket My dried noodle (with own specialty sauce) and my self cooked side dish. =D

I smugly tell Jason that I can now certify that the cooking genes is in my body. He added, "talking too." T_T. Whatever~

Photobucket Tiring by now. Tomorrow's same old Sunday again. I hope to do better.
